About Bethel Erastus
He is is an author, a non-practicing lawyer and leadership consultant. He writes books and articles on his areas of interest.Bethel is a professor of Criminal Justice, International and Comparative Law at the Criminal Justice Faculty of the University of Atlanta. He is also the Special Assistant to the Provost and the Director of Academics. He is a Member of the National Advisory Council and an Associate Editor: Virtualities: International Journal of Online Studies of the university.

After studying Engineering in London, England, Bethel went on to read Law at the University of Hertfordshire at St. Albans where he graduated with an LL.B (Hons.) in 2002. He was awarded a University Prize for overall good performance.
At the invitation of the university following his undergraduate dissertation which gained a first class, Bethel proceeded to undertake a post-graduate programme at the same university earning a Doctorate in Law & Psychology in 2006 with an approved programme of work on ‘The Place of the Explained Verdict in the English Criminal Justice System’.
